A GPA-based scholarship is financial aid tied directly to your grades. At AGTU, your grade point average (GPA) — a 0 to 4.0 score that measures how well you did — automatically determines a percentage discount on your tuition. The higher your GPA, the bigger your scholarship.
GPA stands for Grade Point Average. Your letter grades (A, B, C…) are converted to points on a 4.0 scale and averaged. A 4.0 means straight A's; a 2.0 is roughly a C average. With AGTU's GPA-based scholarship, those points turn directly into savings.
It ranges from 50% off at a 2.4 (C-) all the way to 100% — completely free — at a perfect 4.0. The full, published scale is on this page so you always know exactly what each grade is worth before you enroll.
No application and no competition. Unlike traditional scholarships you must win, the AGTU GPA-based scholarship is automatic and open to every student. You simply earn it through your own performance each TERM.
You need a minimum GPA of 2.4 (a C-) to unlock a 50% scholarship. Below that, standard pricing applies. From 2.4 upward, every improvement in your grades increases your discount.
