How the standard is kept.
Grades from A to F, with a GPA
Every course ends in a letter grade, and every grade feeds a grade point average on the transcript. There is no pass-or-fail shortcut and no certificate of attendance.
Supervised assessment
The work that decides a grade is done under supervision, so a grade stands for work verified as the student’s own, not for time spent online.
Published rubrics
Each assessed task is graded against a rubric the student can read before starting. The criteria are published up front, not inferred after the fact.
Licensed and accredited, and checkable.
Licence #12506

The licence number is public and checkable with the Commission. It is the reason this page can state it plainly.

Answered plainly, or ask someone.
Is an AGTU degree recognised?
AGTU is licensed by the Florida Department of Education, Commission for Independent Education, under licence #12506, and accredited by ASIC in the United Kingdom. Both are checkable, and the numbers are on this page.
Recognition of a foreign degree, however, is decided by the authority of the country where you intend to use it, not by the university that issues it. Some countries also exclude certain fields: India's UGC, for instance, does not recognise foreign online degrees in law, medicine, pharmacy, nursing or architecture. If your plan depends on recognition, check with the authority in your country before you enrol, and ask an advisor for the documentation they will need.
Do I need a visa, or to relocate?
No. The programme is delivered entirely online, so there is no visa, no relocation, and no resignation letter. You study from where you already live, around the job you already have, and the credential you receive is the same American degree.
Are there live classes?
The programme is asynchronous by design, so students in any time zone participate equally. Some programmes include live components, described on each programme page.
Do I get real grades?
Yes. A to F, with a full GPA.
Who can enrol, and what documents do I need?
The Free Competency Program asks for no transcripts or diplomas: you can start and study before sending anything.
Formal admission requirements, including academic documentation, apply when you enrol in a degree programme. An advisor tells you exactly which documents your country requires.
When can I start?
Any day. There are no intake dates, no cohorts and no waiting list.
